• Description this corn starch is produced by mashing, washing and drying of organically grown corn from Austria. It is a white to yellowish floury powder that can be used in a variety of food applications as a low cost thickener. Like all certified organic corn products, it is not a product of genetic engineering. Prepare a paste with corn starch and cold water before adding to sauces. To mimic the binding ability of gluten, substitute 1 cup of wheat flour for 3/4 cup of rice flour and 1/4 cup of corn starch.
