Small-batch brewing at home has never been this simple. This International Amber Lager recipe kit comes with every pre-measured ingredient you need to brew Martin's International Amber Lager, a 5-gallon all-grain batch, from grain to glass.

Shift the International Lager family a few shades darker and you land here. Amber lagers of this kind turn up everywhere from Mexico to East Asia, usually sold as a slightly fuller, more colorful companion to the pale version. Expect light toast and a faint caramel edge over a clean lager base, with bitterness low enough that the malt keeps the lead.

Munich and biscuit malt do most of the talking, giving a bready, lightly toasted character without heaviness, while Perle and Hallertau Mittelfruh keep the hopping soft and German. The color lands squarely in the amber range, but the beer still finishes clean and drinkable.
